With spring upon us, color trends are going away from the darker, sultrier, and more demure looks of winter, and branching out in to the bright floral, pastel, and jewel tones of spring. What does this mean for your hosiery? Well, quite a lot, and there is absolutely no more perfect time to try out colored hosiery looks in order to really bring your fashion into the spring of 2015! Colored hosiery provides a quirky, fun, and accessorized element to any outfit, and you’ll find that with only a single pair of colored hose, you can turn a multitude of ensembles into entirely different looks.
The first thing to keep in mind when choosing colorful spring hosiery is that this will be different from your fall and winter looks. While colored hosiery really makes fashion fun during any time of the year, the spring and summer seasons will be somewhat warmer, and you’ll want to keep cool while enhancing your look. For this reason, it’s best to stray away from the opaque colored looks you may have been sporting in the winter and fall, and to opt for something a bit more sheer instead. The sheer options will give you the look you’re trying to achieve, but they will keep you cool as well, providing you with a style element that works in both fashion and function!
When pairing colored hosiery with your spring looks, a great way to start out is to take one single complementing color from your outfit and bring it out with your hosiery. If you have a floral skirt, for instance, that is adorned with roses with small green leaves, go for a hosiery option that brings out the green rather than the red, as this will balance out your look and keep it from becoming too monochromatic.
We at Hosieree.com love the trend of pairing colored hosiery with the colors of spring, and we have plenty of spring hosiery options to suit any outfit. To see just what we may have to go along with your spring 2015 wardrobe, come and visit us at Hosieree.com today!
Brightly colored pantyhose in blue, aqua, and others I once thought were a bit loud. Most of us just chose black taupe, nude or other ordinary colors as not to get too flamboyant. How times have changed. Ordinary is just that-unflattering and less than appealing with the choices we have now. Once high heels were to well-showy. It perhaps gave the impression you were a little promiscuous. Now a nice four inch high heel gathers the attention to your pretty features ever more. I just love my collection of heels and have many. True they can be a disadvantage walking in them. I wear flats until I arrive then change and alternate. The discomfort of less than well fitting high heels can be painful. Buy quality foot ware and enjoy comfort and style both.
I just adore colored tights you name the color I have it maybe not in the same shade but that’s why I keep buying more. I do tend to like the glossy look though.
