A few days after images of her circulated in various media outlets, sales of these previously unpopular sheer
pantyhose increased by as much as 85% compared with last year’s sales—and this is just for the first half of 2011!

Thanks to this trend launched by Kate and her sister Pippa Middleton, many people around the world have also begun wearing sheer tights or nude pantyhose, even incorporating them to their day wear.  What was previously viewed as a poor fashion choice is now making a comeback as a hot trend among women. Today, technology has made it possible to produce barely there or ultra sheer stockings that are also durable, comfortable, and allow your legs to ‘breathe.’ High tech materials also reduce constriction while providing firm support for those who need it.

Another good thing about this latest trend is that they allow women to wear clothes that they have not been able to wear when the ‘bare legs’ look is highly preferred. Nowadays, women can walk out with confidence, knowing that their flaws are covered oh so naturally with these sheer tights. Finally, they are no longer confined to special events and can now be worn practically anywhere and anytime. With popular celebrities, such as Beyonce also sporting these nude tights, sales are expected to increase for the rest of the year. At least for now, it looks like sheer pantyhose are here to stay!
