Exactly. There seems to be a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" attitude amongst athletes about pantyhose. Baseball and Football players, among others, have been wearing them for years under their uniforms for warmth and support. I wrestled in college, and immediately after a match we would put them on after our showers and wear them under our clothes for a few hours to "warm down", preventing the muscles we just strained from going into shock. This really isn't big news, except that they are now breaking into the fashion front, and that is great. More guys can enjoy the benefits of hosiery!

When I was younger, I wore tights and a singlet leotard while studying ballet. Now, a number of years later, I find that a thinner, yet still opaque pair of tights, is the most comfortable garment I can wear under my jeans or even dress pants. And when it gets really cold, a pair of tights and a long sleeve leotard is absolutely wonderful to simply keep warm as well as provide support for tired muscles. I even wear them as pajamas. I hope the stigma of wearing such warm and supportive garments change soon. I wish more men would realize just how comfortable a good pair of hose is. There are now support groups on the web, as I have seen and I think this is great. What, do men have to wait another 400 years before it becomes fashionable again?
